Our Immediate objective is toapply our expertise and vision to help mitigate the current Ebola Viral Disease (EVD) outbreak in West Africa and be ready to respond if outbreaks should occur elsewhere, including in Europe and North America.
BIIRST combines state-of-the-art technologies with deep expertise and experience in field operations in West Africa addressing previous outbreaks of highly infectious diseases including Lhasa Fever and Ebola.
